Joint tape with impregnated polyurethane foam
Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is an impregnated pre-compressed joint sealing tape based on polyurethane foam, with soft foam, impregnated with acrylic dispersion, admixtures and fillers. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is adhesive coated on one side. After application, the pre-compressed tape will slowly expand to fill the joint. With a compression of at least 30% of the maximum width, the impregnated foam is impact rain proof up to 600 Pa. Zwaluw Compress Band BG1 is part of the Sustainable Airtight Building product range. These products are tested for thermal insulation, rain tightness and air loss. When applied correctly, these products contribute to the energy savings of a building and are closely related to concepts such as the passive house and energy neutral houses.
