Miofol® 125S
Miofol® 125S is a reinforced vapor barrier technical construction film. The composite film has an extremely long service life due to the use of virgin PE. Vapor from space cannot enter the construction or insulation through Miofol® 125S.
Application
Miofol® 125S is applied on the warm side as a vapor retarding foil in wall and roof constructions. Due to its constant vapour control properties Miofol® 125S is suitable for constructions of buildings belonging to climate class 2 and 3, such as houses, offices, schools etc. Miofol® 125S is reinforced with a reinforcement mesh and can therefore withstand high mechanical loads, also during transport of prefabricated elements. Miofol® 125S protects the construction against moisture and provides optimal airtight insulation.
Processing
Apply Miofol® 125S to the warm side of the wall and roof construction. Attach the foil to the underlying construction using staples. The logo must be legible from the inside. Observe 100 mm at horizontal and vertical overlaps. For optimal vapor control we recommend that staples, seams and overlaps are sealed with VAST-R® Foil Tape Basic. Seal penetrations and connections wind and watertight with VAST-R® Butyl tape or Tyvek® FlexWrap tape.
