Miofol® 125AV
Miofol® 125AV is a vapor-tight pure aluminum foil with LPDE coating. The Miofol® 125AV is reinforced with a polypropylene fabric making the foil resistant to large mechanical loads, also during transport of prefabricated elements. Vapor from space cannot enter the construction or insulation through Miofol® 125AV.
Application
Miofol® 125AV is used as a vapor tight foil in floor, wall and roof constructions. The foil is applied on the warm side of the construction. Due to its vapor-proof property, Miofol® 125AV is suitable of buildings belonging to climate class 4, such as saunas, swimming pools, bathrooms, gymnasium etc. Miofol® 125AV protects the construction against moisture and provides optimal airtight insulation.
Processing
Apply Miofol® 125AV to the warm side of floor, wall and roof structures. Fix the foil to the supporting structure with staples. Ensure 100 mm horizontal and vertical overlaps. For optimum vapour control we recommend taping seams and overlaps with VAST-R® Aluminium tape basic. Seal penetrations and connections with VAST-R® Butyl tape or Tyvek® FlexWrap tape.
