Promotion conditions and application procedure Makita free action items

Target groups for this action:

  1. Business users.
    You must provide a VAT and Chamber of Commerce number. You can purchase as many action products as you want, and request 1 free action item per action product. If multiple promotions are running simultaneously on a promotional product, you must choose which free promotional item you would like to receive.

  2. Private users.
    If you buy two or more identical action products in this action period, you can register a maximum of one of them for a free action item. If multiple promotions are running simultaneously on a promotional product, you must choose which free promotional item you would like to receive.

  3. Makita personnel and dealers cannot participate in this promotion.

Duration of action:

The promotion runs from April 1 to June 30, 2021. You can register your purchase for the free action item in the Makita APP or at makita.co.uk/offer until July 31, 2021.

Promotion conditions:

    1. The promotions only apply if you buy the machine(s) from an official Makita dealer located in the Netherlands. You can see who our official dealers are on the dealer locator of makita.nl. If you have any questions about this, please contact our Customer Service (040-2064040) in advance to avoid disappointment afterwards.

    2. As a non-resident of the Netherlands, you can take advantage of the promotions where you can pick up the free action item at the Service Point in the Netherlands communicated by mail.

    3. The purchase date is in the period from April 1 to June 30, 2021. The purchase date must be visible on the dealer's purchase receipt/invoice.

    4. Registration must take place through July 31, 2021. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

    5. Participating promotional products can be found at makita.co.uk/offer.

    6. When model numbers on the action list change during the action period (e.g., expiring

      machines), then the action also applies to the successor or replacement of the relevant

      machine(s).

    7. Machines on makitaoutletshop.co.uk are excluded from promotions.

    8. Promotional products ordered during the promotional period, but due to backorders only

      delivered after the end of the promotional period can be registered for a free promotional item up to 4 weeks after delivery.

    Please note that failure to meet one or more of these conditions will lead inexorably to rejection of your application.

The application process:

We only want to know the bare minimum about you in order to process your application. We do this to prevent abuse of the promotion. Thank you for your understanding.

Register your purchase in the Makita APP or at makita.co.uk/offer. We will send the free promotional item to the address you provide. We reserve the right, depending on the situation around Corona, to send free action items to a Service Point near you.

You are required to upload the following data for the application. If the information is incomplete or incorrect, your application will not be processed.

1. Purchase receipt. This must include the invoice and model number and the name and address information for yourself and your dealer. The invoice date must be between April 1 and June 30, 2021. In some cases, the invoice number does not appear on the invoice. In that case, you must also upload the proof of payment (receipt) along with the invoice in a file.

2. If you bought your Makita in a hardware store where no purchase receipt or invoice is given, you must upload a numbered receipt and record the receipt number.

Please follow the registration entry fields. All fields are required. If any of the following information is missing, your application will not be processed:

  1. Your name and address information. These must be the same as the information on the purchase receipt/invoice/numbered receipt.

  2. If you are a business user, VAT and Chamber of Commerce numbers are required.

  3. Name and address information of your dealer. These should be the same as those on the

    purchase receipt/invoice/numbered receipt.

  4. Invoice or receipt number.

  5. Model or type number. This should be the same as the model or type number on the

    purchase receipt/invoice/numbered receipt.

  6. Serial number as shown on the machine's nameplate. A picture of the

    serial number on package sticker will not be accepted.

  7. An image of the nameplate with serial number should be uploaded.

Please note that packing or shipping slips, order confirmations, pro forma invoices or bank statements will not be accepted. Your application will not be processed if you do not share the requested information with us completely or incorrectly.

Your request for the free action item is also used immediately to automatically extend your machine warranty to 3 years. This works as follows: as soon as you send the application, a My Makita account is automatically created (if you did not already have one). You will then receive an email confirming your account and extended warranty.

What else matters:

    1. When an action machine is returned to the dealer, the right to the free action item is forfeited. Any promotional items already sent should be returned to Makita Nederland B.V. Park Forum 1101, 5657 HK EINDHOVEN.

    2. The free promotional item will be shipped within 2 weeks from the date of approved registration.

    3. In case of well-founded suspicion of abuse of an action, Makita may decide that you cannot participate in future Makita actions.
